Our history began with tire curing press valves, and since then we have evolved into a company with niche and unique technologies, including developing and improving tire manufacturing machinery and high-pressure hydraulic devices.
Tire Curing Press Valves
In the past, curing press valves were only made overseas, had a short service life span, and were difficult to repair. When our founder saw workers struggling to fix a problem, he decided to do something about it and started development himself. The result was an epoch-making valve that was easy to repair, had a long service life span, and improved tire quality. We currently have a 90% share of the Japanese market and an estimated 30% share of the international market.
Tire Curing Press
Starting with the introduction of curing press valves, we began to improve the main equipment of curing presses. When considering the design, it was important to look at things from the perspective of the user. We got to the heart of the matter by actually visiting sites and talking with users about problems and issues firsthand. As a result of recognizing and responding to unseen needs, we have grown into a unique company that can handle all kinds of improvement and development for curing presses.
High-pressure hydraulic devices
While the 70 MPa high-pressure hydraulics market is niche, products in it are necessary for society. This is quite interesting from a technical perspective. Actually, these items can be used at various manufacturing sites, regardless of industry. Instead of just focusing on the tire industry, we are introducing them into a wide range of technologies. We came across these products with such flexible footwork, that they are all-rounders with great potential for the future.
ROCKY-ICHIMARU has promoted the evolution of manufacturing, and we are looking toward the future with the aim of contributing to a sustainable society. We are also making progress toward that future.
