If there is a heavy object such as a jig connected to the tip of the cylinder piston rod, the operating speed due to the pump discharge amount and the free fall speed due to the heavy object will increase, causing the cylinder to operate irregularly.
The counter balance valve balances the load by applying back pressure to match the operating speed with the pump discharge speed.
