Gas Circulation Unit for Tire Curing Press
GCU (Gas-steam mixture circulation unit for general-purpose)
PRODUCTS
Product Features
POINT Improved Curing Quality
By continuously circulating and stirring the gas in the bladder during tire curing, the temperature difference inside the bladder is equalized in a short amount of time. This makes the curing of the entire tire uniform and contributes to improving the quality of the tire curing.
POINT Saves Energy
Conventionally, the most common method for mixing the gas inside the bladder has been to intermittently purge the internal pressure and then recharge the nitrogen gas. However, with GCU, the purge operation can be omitted, allowing for continuous mixing. This suppresses the release of unnecessary heat energy and achieves efficient mixing.
POINT A Body Design That Takes Maintainability Into Consideration
The GCU is designed with maintainability in mind, including measures against foreign matter in the circulating gas and a detachable unit structure for the rotor.
POINT Dedicated Special Induction Motor
The special induction motor, newly developed for driving the pump’s rotation, has excellent heat and pressure resistance, and at the same time, it has a built-in non-contact sensor that monitors the actual rotational speed, making it possible to monitor the rotation state of the pump during operation.
